I received a mattress and products in exchange for an honest review, but as ALWAYS my opinions are 100% my own.
As with the changing of seasons, comes new routines and new ways of doing things. My Fall night routine is somewhat different than my summer routine, but nothing too crazy. I want you to keep in mind though, I am a busy mom to three kids so basically I just adjust my routines on a regular basis. However, I am going to share with you what a “typical” night is like for me.
Fall Night Routine
Once kids are done with homework and other extra curricular activities we like to try and have dinner around 6 or 7 every night. Once we are done with dinner the long internal battle of convincing myself to clean the kitchen begins. Luckily both my daughters are of the age where they help and I give them designated chores. So I guess you can say, cleaning the kitchen
isn’t “that bad.”
After dinner the kids all get their showers and settled for bed. During this time I try and straighten up and make sure everything is ready for the next morning, especially on school days. This part of my Fall night routine is really no different from any other day for us.
A Little Me Time
Finally, it is the time of the night where I can try and focus on myself and indulge in a little me time. I try every night to take a nice hot relaxing bath. This step in my routine just makes me feel more relaxed and just sets the tone for the rest of the night. I like to during this time in the bath, to catch up on my favorite YouTube videos,
let me know in the comments below who are your favorite YouTubers to watch.
Next, once out I take care of my skin using all of my favorite night time skincare products (stay tuned for an updated skincare routine.) Finally, we come to my absolute favorite part of the evening, crawling in bed. I typically like to try and catch up on last minute emails and scroll through Instagram (if your not following me yet, you really should be).
My favorite part of my routine has recently just gotten so much better thanks to the lovely people over at Tomorrow Sleep. They were kind enough to send me the best queen sized hybrid memory foam mattress (I received the medium soft.) As a side sleeper I have always woke up with some back pain in the morning and tossed and turned quite frequently, but thanks to my memory foam hybrid mattress, my sleep has never been better. Since I am sleeping on a soft memory foam, it contours to the shape of my body so side sleeping is no longer causing anymore shoulder and back pain. I honestly wake feeling so refreshed and more importantly with OUT pain.
