Glo-Minerals Suede Matte Crayon Collection
Hello to my newest beauty Must-Have! I’m excited to bring you today’s product swatch post. I am a total newbie when it comes to the brand, Glo-Minerals. I mean I’m familiar with the name, a lot of salons in my town carry the brand, however I never personally tried their products. So when I was approached by the company to test out their latest product, the Suede Matte Crayon, I was definitely intrigued and excited to say the least.
The collection consist of seven shades. Now to me personally these shades are extremely flattering for all skin tones as well as a wide age range. Plus, the colors are perfect to carry you throughout each seasonal trend.
How stunning are those shades! I’ve been loving Sorbet and Crush for the Summer months. The texture of this product is very creamy, velvety, and gentle on the lips. They truly do glide right across the lips. I do want to mention there is a slight minty scent to these lip crayons but not one that is too overpowering or irritating. I just like to mention that because I know to a lot of consumers, scent is something very important, especially with a product that is applied so close to the nose.
The packaging is very convenient. The crayon-inspired chunky pencil with built-in sharpener delivers precision and convenience in one.
I found these crayons to glide gently and smoothly across the lips, leaving a beautiful pop of color that actually lasted throughout the day. Once applied, the color lasted in pigmentation throughout several meals, snacking, and drinking. I really only remember having the reapply maybe once, and that was only because I felt a need to reapply for color intensity and I love how nourishing the crayons are for my lips. The color is definitely visible without any reapplication. I did notice a very slight color transfer onto my glass or when blotting my mouth, but it didn’t take the color off completely.
Tip: After first application, if you take a napkin or even the back of your hand and blot the shade one or two times, I noticed there wasn’t any color transfer when eating or drinking. There was a beautiful wash of color on the lips throughout the day.
