What is Shades of April?

Shades of April is the brand created by April Ward to showcase her private collection of contemporary photography.

April Ward is an Australian freelance photographer who started her career in the days of analog photography and has been producing work for three decades. She has been selected in numerous photography exhibitions, prizes and awards both in Australia and Overseas.

She has worked in both studio/location portraiture and advertising and now chooses to focus on her private body of work which until now has been unavailable to collectors.

Are these really limited editions?

Yes, only 10 prints per image. Once sold, the edition closes.

Is the print ready to frame?

Yes, each print in the edition is sized at 8x12" (20.32 x 30.48 cm) and can be carefully removed from the matte if you wish to have it custom framed. This is a standard photographic print size and you may also easily purchase a sized frame to fit.

If you wish you can also choose to display it as it on a mantle or bookcase as it is encased in a cardboard mount with a removable plastic sleeve for protection.

Do you offer other sizes

Can I return my print if I change my mind?

We do not accept returns due to the collectible nature of each piece.
